✨As a social media content creator I have created and shared countless tarot and divination videos, "witchy soul" music videos, podcast episodes, and all kinds of witchy and spiritual content on various social media platforms in one form or another. However, I am currently investing my time and energy into creating content on this blog/website and controlling how my intellectual and creative content is viewed, shared, and benefitted from by others as a witch, as a spiritual practitioner, and as a “witch influencer.”
✨As a business owner, I run a successful, offline spiritual business wherein I provide professional tarot reading/divination services and spiritual advice counseling sessions to an elite clientele of offline clients and customers that I have built thru an "honor system" by word of mouth over the years. However, plans to expand my spiritual business to offer online readings and services are in the works and One Wise Sage is a part of that process.
✨In my personal life, I am an extremely overprotective animal mommy to two doggie babies, two angel fish babies, a miniature bunny baby (and hopefully a parakeet coming soon)! Last, but not least, I am a happy wife in an interracial marriage to my French-Canadian husband, and best friend who is also my creative muse and the absolute love of my life.
✨When I’m not working and creating for my spiritual/witchy business, I enjoy spending time with my little family along with cooking & baking, cleaning & re-decorating our home, playing with herbs & expanding my ever growing apothecary, reading witch/vampire genres, watching sci-fi & rom-com movies, singing and making "witchy soul" songs & videos, listening/dancing to "old school" music with hubs, and working on puzzles & other mind-soothing activities.
✨After much support and nudging from my #1 supporter, hubby I had decided to expand my content creation to other social media platforms in addition to this platform such as my main YouTube tarot channel @SagetheUrbanWitch, and my second YouTube tarot channel @IamEverydayTarot which is dedicated to my fellow Scorpios! However, the oppressive YouTube algorithm coupled with the ongoing and increasing "content creator politics" that was exacerbated by this current administration was simply not working for your girl.
✨So, I am currently only posting YouTube shorts and community posts on my two channels over there to lead new viewers OVER HERE to my home base, One Wise Sage, where I will be creating the majority of my content moving forward! After all, the AdSense wasn't adding. So, if I'm going to be creating content for FREE then it may as well be on my own terms and pace, and on my own semi-indie blog/site over here where I have relatively more creative freedom, more autonomy, and more PEACE without the pressure of trying to contend with the unrealistic pace and standards of Mr. Al!
✨I put in a good five years over there on YouTube. Five years and one month to be exact! And I tried to make it work. I was consistent. But when I got tired, I took breaks. And I kept pushing, despite my inner creative child screaming "Let's go somewhere else. This is bullshit." But I stayed anyway for over FIVE years to make it work. But it didn't. So, at least I can sleep well at night knowing that I tried and that it was simply time to cut my losses and to take my marbles to a better playground to play with "kiddos" who know how to play fair, and more importantly, with kiddos who choose to play fair.
